Mavs let it get a little too close for comfort in the 3rd, and then they just took off from Sac like they were toying with them. The really lit them up to close the 3rd. I got the blowout I was asking for. Final score doesn't necessarily scream "blowout", but Dirk and Kidd and crew got to sit a lot of the 4th. Kidd was the high minute man for the Mavs with 28 mins...Dirk had 23.

Oh...and what's this...Cleveland beat the Lakers tonight.

Mavs are playing as good as any team in the league right now. Very entertaining and sound basketball....But I've seen it before and it's getting hard to keep getting my hopes up every year. I don't know how many times I've said "It's different this year" or "This is the year". Dallas is overdue a championship..

Good to finally see Roddy back, Mavs looked good last night.

Mavs are playing as good as any team in the league right now. Very entertaining and sound basketball....But I've seen it before and it's getting hard to keep getting my hopes up every year. I don't know how many times I've said "It's different this year" or "This is the year". Dallas is overdue a championship..

I guess 2 things that are "different" this year is that Dallas actually can play D...although its been largely absent the last 2 games...giving up 100 to Sac-town and 121 to Denver. I know Denver is the highest scoring team in the league though. And then they have Chandler. They have a center they've never really had. Sure, Damp and Diop in '06 were serviceable, but them put together doesn't equal what Chandler brings. Yeah sure, I'm an optimist, but what else am I gonna do?

Great game last night. I wouldn't say 16 points was a blowout, but it was a solid win with a solid team effort. Really liked seeing so many guys coming up with double digit points in the game. Just goes to show that this team CAN go deep into the bench when/if necessary. Spurs better watch their back, Mavs are taking the West by storm!
