How is the nba rigged? I'll admit the only basketball games I've ever watched was when I jumped on the Mavericks bandwagon when they won the championship and even that was only 1 game. I'm just curious since every says it but I have no idea why.

The refs have heavy influence on the flow of games and players. They can keep a player from impacting a game with calling fouls, influencing how the players can play. They dictate what is acceptable and what is not acceptable for any given game. They can let the players play rough, or call every ticky tacky foul they want. And they can focus that on any player they want.

In other words, if they want a player to not be so impactful, they could call a lot of early fouls on that player. Which forces the team to have him on the bench so he doesn't get fouled out.

They can force players that are used to driving to the basket stop driving. They can keep defensive minded players in foul trouble quickly.

Last night was pathetic. I am ashamed to have even watched that garbage. Not a fan of either team AT ALL. But those were some bs calls on Curry.

Warriors shouldn't even be here. Thunder should have won the last series. The NBA paid the refs to fix it so both series go 7. They didn't suspend Draymond when when they should have against the Thunder because they were down big time but he gets suspended now that they're up. Straight up rigged.

And this is coming from a true basketball fan. It happened to the Mavs in 06 too.

I'm done with the NBA....Happy for the city of Cleveland but how can you be happy about it when you clearly know NBA set this up for a round 3 GS vs Cavs match up in 2017

I feel the refs dictated the Cavs defensive effectiveness on Curry and Thompson. Green missing game 5 changed everything, along with Bogets injury.

I don't like Lebron, but I am happy Cleveland finally got a championship. That blocked shot on the Iguodala layup may have been the best defensive play I have ever seen in the NBA. The significance, timing, the sheer athleticism of the play. Pretty damn high up there in Finals moments and defensive plays.
