FOUND: one Baylor coach. He's already said he's not changing anything, and everyone already claims Baylor doesn't have a playbook, so we should be good to go. If the start of the season goes anything like the end of the last one, my season tickets will continue to be well worth the money.

The big test will be how many of the recruits can he wrangle back.

Wrong o buckaroo. Campus police in TX at state schools are employed by the state and sort of fall under the umbrella of the DPS. All peace officers in TX have to abide by the same minimum professional standards regardless of what department they work for. Baylor's police on the other hand are basically a private police force that is paid from alumni donations and tuition funds but they are still sworn officers and if they are covering up crimes they need to been locked up in the same cell as the person they are covering for.

It is different because SWORN officers are involved who have a legal and moral obligation to investigate crimes no matter what the politics are. If the police are giving certain people a pass on serious crimes it is a police corruption problem and not a problem with the colleges administrators.

Well it seems the public, including the Baylor Board of Regents disagrees with your position on the matter as the coach is gone and Mr Starr is no longer President. The review report also disagrees with it "not being an administration issue". So continue to believe as you like but the real world will continue to operate in contrast to those beliefs.

And there is the problem; the same corrupt officers who turned a blind eye to a major felony are still there and will do the same thing over again.

Why would you choose to take a group of individual's "claims" to be fact who have the most reason out of anyone to cover up a scandal? Do you personally know them? They paid for the report, they read the report, and they did not disclose the report. Fishy.

The rest of the world right now is eating up whatever ESPN feeds them.

Yep, still proud of the players & Briles. Dissapointed in the administraton.

There's tons of local news in forums not making it out into the press yet that is starting to paint a clear picture. Athletic Director sounds guiltiest of all (immediately resigned, never fought back) followed by the Board of Regents (will not release full facts), the president (probably ignorance), and some various administrators who should have handled Title 9 stuff.

Briles brought out the hammer, requesting full disclosure of the PH facts. Baylor immediately paid him every penny he wanted to shut up and go away. That does not sound guilty to me...sounds like the Board has something to hide.

Sucks because I think the board screwed up big time and threw our coach out as the scapegoat. I just hope he can do some maneuvering to get some facts released and repair his name so I can watch him coach somewhere else.

Also sucks losing some really damn good football games around here in Central Texas. They were a fun team to watch...

Keeping my season tickets and looking forward to the chaotic season. BU vs. Texas and the bowl game last year were incredible to watch with no QB. Still so much skill on the team now, we have some wins in us...

Lmao, yeah Briles is innocent I'm sure. Just like he had no clue about that rapist from Boise St he let in.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                              Exactly right.

Man, these Baylor homers make other college team homers look like amateurs. LOL

Your assumption that other players and coaches didn't know stinks all to the nearest feed lot. Really and no one at penn st. knew the coach was raping lil boys either....

I'd rather lose a few games a season and have respectable kids and coaches at my alma mater than the Baylor shit. I bet tcu feels a lot better about the past three seasons now. I know I do. Texas Tech may not be a ncaa football powerhouse but it's not embarrassing either.
