Well I guess the Broncos next move will be to sign Brock to a contract.

As much as the Broncos are happy for Manning to retire after delivering them a Super Bowl. They also save 19 million dollars in cap space. They only have to eat 2.5 Million of the contract

I wonder if he can take his retarded brother with him. Actually, I enjoy the dumb ass look on his face when we beat that moron.

So when we look at the great QB's of the NFL. Montana, Favre, Elway, all of the others. Where does Manning rank? Is he the in the discussion as Top 5 QB's in the history of the NFL?

i dont think its fair to make an all time top 5 list, just because they game has changed so much, i think its better to say top 5 of an era. joe montana would be DOA in todays NFL.

I liked the article on Manning flipping off Kubiak during practice! Guess he was pissed so every time he did anything in practice he would flip off the video camera. That was week 17 and he led the team to the super bowl. He ranks with the best for sure and was a very smart qb

Uh... is that a joke? Montana took dozens of hits that would be illegal today.

                      He also didn't have 6'7" 320 lb. D-linemen who can run 4.4 40s.

Names of those at that physique who can run 4.40's?

Closest I can find is Terran Armstead, an offensive lineman that ran a 4.7 @ 306lbs.

Rodney- That's foolish. Montana would maintain his legacy in ANY era he could possibly play in. Also, it's uncommon for defensive linemen to be that big.

Because it was expressed in plural form I was under the impression there were more than maybe one or two that could come remotely close to a 4.4x. Alas, it's just Shadingaling reaching in that cornhole again looking for anything that may back a feeble opinion.

I'd say he is a top 10 of al time and a top 5 in the free agent era. In my opinion you have splitNFL history at the introduction of free agency.

You aren't going to see another qb go 4 or 5 and 0 in Super Bowls again. The league isn't set up for it anymore. That's what's impreasive about Brady and the patriots. Yes they loss 2 but they never have the same cast.
