so kyvat gets podium in china then sochi happens...
kyvat ended vettel's race in 3 corners while also ruining ricciardo's and his own race. now kyvat has been dropped back to torro rosso mid-season and verstappen is replacing him at RB. nuts!
also wtf happened to mercedes reliability? they complete a trillion miles in testing but have already have multiple power unit failures in just 4 races.
mercedes reported ham had 0 water pressure yet he self-managed the car by keeping clear air, lifting and coasting and maximizing air cooling. they also said rosberg lost mgu-k in the race as well.

Yea I didn't see the Verstappen move coming at all, but then again its Helmut Marko and he's had a hard on for Verstappen being in Red Bull
Mainly with Lewis with the reliability, Russia I believe was the first issue for Rosberg. Two different engines for Lewis at China and then at Russia and they both produce the same issue.

I figured Kyvat would get a race ban like Grojean did when he was playing bumper cars all the time, not moved to a different seat. Merc could use a few more engine problems to mix it up and let someone else have a chance at a win again.

That might have been happening if Ferrari didn't have their issues or bad luck.

I think Mercedes is having to push a little bit harder due to the red cars catching up. Take away some bad luck, and turbo issues things would look a little different on the podium. They may not have knocked off Rosberg, that guy seems to have all the luck right now.

He has some good luck on not having any problems, but he has a bunch of confidence right now

Well Hamilton is on pole for tomorrow's race. I have to admit I'm quite impressed of how quick Verstappen has been with Red Bull. He's never driven that car until this weekend, and he starts 4th.

Wow, I would love to know what the discussion was in the Mercedes room. What a race though. Both Mercedes crash, then to top it off Max Verstappen wins in his debut race in Red Bull? Holy Crap

i think it was a racing incident with nothing to penalize.
if these aren't two teammates, there would be no blame assigned and everyone would be fine with it.
hamilton went for a gap. you must always go for a gap.
rosberg went to defend. you always fight to keep your position.
rosberg did only make 1 move.**
the grey area is that a car must give 1 cars width to the edge of the track if another car has any significant portion of their car next to yours. 'the significant portion' is the grey area as it might have only been hamilton's front wing.
*personally i think rosberg's 1 move was very aggressive and it was to the point where his decision would always result in his own race being destroyed.
here is a really good analysis by anthony davidson:
