I think you're spot on here. At least with receiving I feel like you still have good talent without Dez. Yes, the ball does not get spread around enough either to keep a defense on its toes. I do not see every cowboys game, but I see more of them than I do with the Redskins - and noticed the lack of spreading the receptions out.

When I say good talent, excuse my lack of football vocabulary. Dez is a pro-bowler - possible hall of famer. The other WRs probably not, but they still have talent, can be utilized and can be a threat. Especially against a team like the Redskins.

I think this has a higher probability of happening than people seem to think. Everyone keeps saying "but the contract, they won't do that." I think it's almost a reality at this point. The ONLY thing Kelly has done effectively in Philly, is show that nobody is safe, and contracts don't matter. I firmly believe Kelly & Co have already tried shopping Murray with no interest, due to the huge contract. I believe that if Kelly stays, Murray is gone. I also believe he will clear waivers, because anyone that picks him up off waivers will be responsible for the contract Philly signed him to. This will then allow Dallas to make him an offer at a reasonable price for both parties. Anything Dallas (or any other team) offers him, will offset the guaranteed portion that Philly owes him.

Murray is already making it known he wants to be released. His next move is to ask Lurie/Kelly to release him officially. Obviously, they don't have to, but I think they will.

Murray made some interesting comments yesterday. That it wasn't about the money, it was that he genuinely believed he had a shot to win the Super Bowl there. Really? You thought Philly actually had a better shot at the SB than Dallas did? That is some majorly flawed thinking. Obviously nobody knew this season would turn out the way it has, but I'm curious as to what exactly made him think he had a better chance in Philly than the absolute monster of a team he was on last season.

That's just damage control coming out. He wants out and Philly has no reason to keep him.
I was being a little silly in that post but the Murray comment I made was pretty genuine.

And the Manziel comment was because...Jerruh.

Yeah, my comment about it being closer to reality than anyone realizes is due to all the folks saying "It won't happen, they owe him too much, too much dead money, etc" I really think there's about an 80% chance he winds up back in
          Dallas next season.

Yet another example of the coaches not having the team prepared and not making adjustments or even having a competitive plan. You can blame personnel all you want, but when I watch the Cowboys I see a team with serious coaching problems in many areas. Let's just start with strength and conditioning for one, and then you can build from there.

What a fuck show. Any time there's a pass play, Cassell forgets how to throw a football. He waits around way too long. As for Dez, I've never seen a receiver scream and cry for the ball so much, yet drop so many passes.

Well, at least we found out Collins could be our running back.

he was running so fast, the guy he blocked got up, stayed BEHIND him and made the tackle.

I agree, but the PLAYERS have to get first downs on 3rd and short...etc.

I dig their failures, but there is blame to go around on that team right now.

Cassel is about as indecisive as they get. He sat around in the pocket too long IMO, which led our typically fast-positioning offense to get set up on by the secondary.
