Looks like they are going to be playing in the rain with some 15-20mph winds. It'll be interesting, but I think the Packers will win. Turnovers may dictate the game more than anything.

If you were told before the season, Romo was going to be out for 12 of the games, would you honestly have still expected this team to be above .500?
I would've thought Romo a little replaceable with Dez, a good O-line and a decent running game.
You can only see so much on TV, but I am surprised they are not using Bryant more as well as Beasley...both seem available a lot time from what I can see on TV. Unsure if that is a team issue or a QB issue (I'd blame QB).
I know Dez was off the other week, but he seems in decent shape now.

I absolutely would expect them to be above .500. Randle wasn't what they thought he was. Dez injury is huge. Nobody even mentions losing Dunbar anymore, but he played a huge role last year.
This defense was supposed to be so much better, and they worse in terms of turnovers. Williams is average at best. Beasley can't do what Beasley does when Dez isn't out there, and even now that Dez is back, he isn't even close to 100%.
Jerry threw his coaching staff under the bus the other day on the Fan, and I've been saying it all season. Garrett fucking sucks. Garrett only knows how to coach one way. It also appears the coordinators are the same way, though Marinelli gets a slight break for all the blitzing last week. Offensively, they keep running the same shit they ran last year. But this team can't do it. They aren't talented enough. He needs to adjust for that, but he has repeatedly proven he is incapable of doing so.

I find it interesting when Garrett was the OC and calling the plays, this team passed like 70% of the time and was successful for the most part. NOW he has this idea we just need to ground and pound all the time no matter what the circumstance.
We all remember having those 3rd/4th down and shorts where Romo would be in shotgun 2 or 3 years ago and beyond.
It's almost like they can't morph their concept of who they are and change their way of thinking mid stream.
Red headed jeezus is a clown. He almost cost us that game on Sunday. Clock management sucked outloud! The HC has to tell McFadden to fall down in bounds if he doesn't make it. Then they should have made him fall down at the 1 yard line instead of scoring. They could have milked the clock down to approx. 20 seconds and let DB kick for the lead.

For the love of God, do NOT take the stance that Garrett was a good play caller. My entire point was that the play selection this season has not changed from last year. And it wouldn't have to, if we had Romo, Dez, and Dunbar on the field. We don't. They need to realize these players do not have the same ability, and they need to play to the strengths of who is on the field instead of the strengths of who was on the field last season.
Garrett is a HORRIBLE play caller. Garrett's play book consisted of 3 plays. Delayed draw, hail mary, and bubble screens. That was it. If they give play calling duties back to Garrett, I won't watch a single game.

LOL ease up. I am not saying he was a good play caller. I was saying they threw the ball wayyy more back then and yes the offense was affective throwing the ball. Garrett particularly stunk at situational play calling.
I just find it funny all he wanted to do was throw the ball for soooo long and now here we are trying to do nothing but run on 3rd and 1 getting stuffed every time.

Losing Callahan as OL coach hurt us big time. Not having as physical a runner as Murray was hurts us big time. Also, we can't stretch the field. There is no deep threat, so our opponents stack the box and dare them to run. Flat out, they are no longer a well rounded team, and there are hundreds of reasons.

Well, we will cover all our bases next year.
Murray will get cut and come back.
Manziel will make his way into the back up role.
Hardy will be signed at a lesser deal
Jerruh will finally draft a running back.
