I heard Kareem say that about dirk...He's on crack man! No one in the past would be able to slow down GS. To quick and they have plenty of shooters. Their D is not bad they have 2nd best win point diff in the League.

The Warriors are pretty much never out of a game this year no matter what the score is. They have way too many sharp shooters on the team and they can D it up when they want. Curry is the best shooter ever...hands down.

Mavs stinking it up. Finally becoming we everyone thought they would be at the beginning of the year. Slipped to 9th in the standings, out of the playoffs. But within a game of 7th. A couple game winning streak would fix that, but I don't see that from this team at the moment.

Injuries are taking a toll on the team and this team isn't really good unless full strength; even then they're maybe a 40 win team

What gets me are all the former NBA stars talking shit about Curry and the Warriors "Oh they wouldn't have been this good in my era". Get the fuck out of here! Oscar Robertson (The Big "O") was saying that teams now a days do not know how to play defense and they would have locked Curry down back in his days. Even Kareem was talking smack (and he was talking smack about Dirk a few weeks ago). Again get the fuck out of here with that shit. I'm not a fan boy but I respect Curry and his abilities.

I'll say one thing about the older NBA, a lot of the players I think played through a lot of injuries compared to players now a days. Also those players got a way with a lot of physicality (think the Detroit Bad Boys) that wouldn't fly in today's NBA. But the abilities of today's players trump a lot of what the older NBA could do in terms of speed, size, and accuracy in shot. Sure a few could do it like Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc. But overall, the players today are a higher quality player compared to back then.

Anyway just my rant for the day.

The sports evolve, and sports science has really evolved. Steph Curry.... well the great shooting Steve Kerr says he is the best shooter he has ever seen. That's not light praise. Kerr played with Jordan and was playing at the end of Bird and Magic's careers.

The playoffs haven't started, but until someone beats GS they are still the champs. It's that simple. I hope my team, the Spurs, gives them hell this year, but that remains to be seen. And no matter what it looks like I don't think Cleveland will be an easy task for anyone either.

Great win for the Mavs tonight. Got a bit of breathing room from the Rockets. I think we're still gonna need a bit of help to get into the playoffs but I think we'll get it. They're playing surprisingly well right now despite having D. Will out and Parsons.

6 game winning streak has got them back into the playoff picture and in the driver's seat. Any win by the Mavs or any loss by the Rockets and the Mavs are in. Slight possibility they could even move up from the #7 spot (or 8th) to avoid plays the Warriors or Spurs in the 1st round.
