Honestly, though, I feel a bit bad for Dirk in all of it. Here is most definitely the best shooting big man of all time. By any reasoning he should probably have 2 or 3 rings at least instead of just the one. I'm glad he got the one though, because a lot of NBA greats finish careers without ever doing that.
And RC is probably the 3rd best coach in the NBA, but he doesn't have any continuity to work with in regards to players.
And Carlisle was actually voted as the second best coach in the league (can't remember by who) behind Pop. Just curious but who are your first two best coaches?

Dirk played out of his mind, Pachulia was banging in the middle getting work done and Wes Matthews came alive finally. I think once this team gets fully healthy, they can contend in the west, probably 6-8 seed but good enough to get in.

Ya that was a good game last night. Boston is young and hungry and just came off winning games on the road against OKC and Houston and could have easily won last night. I've gotta admit, I had my doubts about this team before the season started but I think they are coming along well. Three players in particular have really surprised me; ZaZa, Felton, and Powell. Maybe Felton more so because he was a known quantity and I considered him dead weight on the Tyson deal but he really came into his own the series again Houston in the first round last year and so far this season. What's his contract look like? I haven't bothered to look. Powell was a nice replacement for who we lost on the Rondo trade but I still think we got the raw deal on that one, we gave up to much. Hopefully Powell will keep improving and we keep him around. And Zaza, I never heard of this guy before we got him and I thought we were really screwed in the center position but he's really coming out and the numbers look good for him. Screw Jordan.
So what do you guys think of about the McHale deal? He got screwed on that but glad to see the league is supporting him. Danny Ainge has already offered him a job and he's a shoe in for another TV analyst position. Even though Houston won last night it took them OT and a big game from Hardeen. I hope they crumble.
