We are talking about a guy that managed to beat the steelers in a playoff game with a strong supporting cast. Dallas has a strong supporting cast. As a long term option, fuck no, as a guy that has the ability to get a couple of wins against crappy teams, yeah. Weeden and Cassel have both proved that they can't get the job done against SHITTY teams.
Since we are talking about old shit that doesn't have anything to do with the price of tea in China, Cassel lead the Brady-less Patriots to 11-5 in 2008.
Tim Tebow is not an option, long or short term, for ANY of the 32 teams in the NFL. Tebow is not an NFL QB and never has been. If he was, he wouldn't have bounced from team to team to team.

Let's just say the asshat coaching the Patriots is a whole lot better than the clown coaching the Cowboys.
And for those thinking coaching doesn't matter that much or that there is some sort of parity among coaches, I submit the following:
1) Cassell as a Patriot and Cassell on any other team
2) Alex Smith after Harbaugh and before Harbaugh
3) San Francisco before, during and now after Harbaugh
4) U Michigan before Harbaugh and now
Certain coaches in the NFL are way better than their peers. The Cowboys get outcoached often.
Cowboys suck period. The whole team hates each other. They have a spineless coach and a crappy owner. Great teams are built by great coaches. I suggest j jones buy a coach
