  • He's pretty bad offensively. Maybe he'll develop into a .225-250 hitter but he will fall way, way short of the others in the Rangers farm system

    • I'm hoping Daniel's can pull some magic at the trade deadline and get rid of Fielder somehow. We have enough young talent to fill the field for years to come. We could really use another starter though or a stud closer, or some long relief gurus.

I really want to see Gallo get another shot in the majors this season too to see if he can bat over 270ish. If he can hit 270, they will need to make a spot for him in the lineup with his power.

And Mazara should be a lock for RoY.

      • Gallo will get called up, his slash line has really developed. OPS is much better.

        • That game was fucking amazing. Talk about a come from behind victory, it literally cannot get closer than that. Anyone that stayed up for that game was rewarded. Texas completely deserved that win. Miracle comeback.

          Complete recap:

Profar being boss as fuck at third base:

Desmond sends a reminder to get your ass back on base:

9th inning. 2 outs. 3 balls, 2 strikes, full count. Last pitch of the Ranger loss. Fans standing grabbing their coats to walk to the parking lot. DENIED. You're not going anywhere.

Odor punches Seattle in the FACE for the go-ahead home run:

          Dyson crushes Seattle's hopes:

There would be way too much swearing.

                • Darvish back to the DL for 15 days, retried to June 9th. Tightness in shoulder and neck. Doesn't seem to be a huge issue, just precautionary.

                  Anyone heard about Beltre?

He's supposed to be back Thursday for the day game. Bannister wants to rest him as much as possible before starting the interleague road trip.

They need to really watch beltre. He played half of last season with a bad hand. He will play hurt and we will need his bat later in the season.

I'm eagerly awaiting Gallo being called up. I was at his 2hr debut game last season. Two hardest hit homers I've ever seen.

                      • I really, really, really hate West coast games.

And why don't the A's just leave Oakland? That place is a dump.

They've been trying to for years and it's even gone to the supreme court. The Giants own that market and the state doesn't want the A's cutting into their fan base. Eventually they'll probably move to San Jose but they have 3 years left on their lease in Oakland. The Raiders on the other hand can move to wherever they want and hopefully will land in San Antonio.

                          • Oakland Coliseum is the most ghetto park on the planet. Never mind the fact there's 27 people in the stands. The bullpen is a bunch of folding chairs on the side of the playing field. They have to hire a full-time high school kid to catch foul balls before they smash into your pitching staff. The dugouts are wide open, no protection or fence. The foul ball territory is the size of Rhode Island. If you happen to hit a majestic home run, you can look forward to watching the ball bounce off of a) concrete stairs, b) green painted piping, c) green painted particle board.
