He's a career .250 hitter with power. He's a middle of the road first baseman with plus glove and arm. His real trade value is in the Rangers trading him to replace him with Gallo. He's been a good player for us through two world series, and he's home grown. I think Gallo is the 2nd coming of tettleton. He is going to strike out a lot but he is also going to go upper deck a lot. It's irritating as hell but he will always be a huge threat to pitchers and leaving runners on base. Baseball would suck if guys with Gallo power could hit like ichiro. It doesn't happen.Comment
