Julio Jones is really that good. They did a good job covering him in the first half. At one point he had 4 catches out of 12 targets.

The defense got tired and the offense couldn't keep the defense off the field. Weeden did exactly what he was supposed to do. He didn't take shots downfield because it wasn't in the game plan or calls. Atlanta beat Dallas the same way Dallas beat everyone last season. By keeping the offense on the field. Garrett had a good game plan coming in, but failed to adjust and he should have known that wasn't going to carry them 60 minutes.

As soon as Atlanta realized Weeden wasn't going to throw to a wideout, they shadowed the backs coming out of the backfield and even brought the safeties in to backup the linebacker covering Dunbar. That pretty much killed every pass play in the second half.

I swear that's what they said on the radio this morning, and I could only remember one. Did he get some garbage catches late in the 4th? I missed the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game.


I think if they would have pulled together 1 good scoring drive in the second half, this would have been a W.

I don't believe so. I thought they were in the first half for the most part.
