Do you understand now why its important for the cowboys to control the clock?

Our defense stays fresh while phillys offense cant get into rhythm.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was the team that played the last 1:30 on Sunday? Wishful thinking, but that's a team without Dez. We'll just need Philly to play stoopid like the Giants did.

I don't expect Michael will become the lead back at any point this season, or even next season. I don't think you should expect it either. We already know Seattle's problem with him. Inconsistency. That is one of Red Jesus' pet peeves, and he doesn't have much patience for it.

Run game was a weak spot before he was out, so of course it is going to suffer a little. I don't think it will be drastic though.

I agree they will blitz like crazy, and they can double Witten all they want. I encourage them to do just that. Dallas simply has too many weapons. Double Witten, and Williams and Beasley are left in single coverage. Both are deadly, and more so in single coverage. I fully believe Dallas is expecting just that, and game planning accordingly. Dallas can really take advantage if Philly doubles Witten, by jamming up the defenders in routes where both Witten and Beasley cross the middle. Sure Romo will probably get sacked 3 times or so, but he'll be alright.

I've got Dallas by 7. Those turnovers last week were flukes, and without them that was a totally different game. I think Dunbar will be a HUGE part of this game. Atlanta just gave everyone the road map to stopping Philadelphia. You know those coaches are watching that game on repeat and analyzing the shit out of it.

Oh I know, but that giants defense was terrible. Philly will be dedicated to stopping the run and rushing romo. I bet we don't have 80 rushing yards. If they can run the ball and control the clock it's a different game, but I think we fall behind and abandon the run.

Until then they need to run joe into the ground, I'd like to see what he can do with 25+ carries in the mean time. I think he is too small to be a 3 down, moderate workload back, he can't pass protect worth a shit because he is just too damn small, and I don't think he cares enough to get good at it. I honestly wish they would have dropped him in the offseason and brought someone like michaels or Lamar miller in before training camp. With Dez out, our run game is going to go from good enough, to a weak spot for this team.

Maybe. With Dez out, it wouldn't surprise me if the Cowboys lean on the run more than they did on Sunday, and that would suppose that Murray has a much better game than he did on Monday.

All very possible, but dependent on those factors.
