Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I don't see UT letting this go on for very long.
The vast share of the blame for this offensive debacle has to go to Watson, imo. It's very clear that Watson is in over his head and has no idea what he's doing with his "spread" attack. The stupid play calling is making the O line look even worse than it (admittedly) is. Saturday night was an utter embarrassment on every single offensive level. Other than the Arkansas game last year, I honestly can't recall ever seeing a power five offense looking that pitiful.
I will say that I was pretty shocked to hear Strong say that he was shocked by the offensive performance and that he isn't that involved with the offense. No matter what, it's on the head coach to manage all aspects, not just turn over the keys to your buddy and trust that he'll do a decent job.
I like Strong and hope he has success, and I think that he can. I think it's pretty clear he had no idea what he was walking into and is in over his head.
Unless there's a huge turnaround in a matter of days, I don't know that we'll beat Rice ... at home. It's a pathetic state of things, but I hope at least one correct choice was made tonight.
*EDIT - What did you guys think of Norvell from his time at ou? He has control of the offense now.Last edited by slow99; 09-08-2015, 08:57 PM.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.

Joel Clatt being interviewed on 1310 right now, and he is absolutely trashing Strong's program. He openly admitted Watson is one of his best friends, but he makes some strong points. I'm sure it will be up on the Unticket tomorrow.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Texas can't fire Strong, the athletic program is in the red and their is no buyout in his contract. So if they fire him they still have to pay his full contract. Canning him and getting another $5 million coach this year would net them a $15-20 million loss. Not going to happen.
Now if they lose to Rice this week...oh boy
