Just because everyone hates the Pats and Brady, doesn't mean the NFL Goodell isn't a fucking moron. Of course maybe this is a case of fucking morons uniting, yourself included.

I hate the Pats and Brady too, but all of this bullshit was just about staying on the front page of the sports news during the offseason. There will be some other bullshit crisis for the NFL next offseason too. Thinking anything different just makes you a Goodell nut hugging lemming.

And did you read what the judge in NY had to say on this matter? The judge agrees with me that this is all trumped up bullshit to keep the NFL on the front page. They never had a case. ESPNs reporting was largely false, and you idiots ate it all up. Nom nom nom nom....

This was mostly due to my own ignorance. I just assumed the league/officials inflated, and handed out balls during the game and they would never be in control of the team until on the field or something along those lines.

Also, if they cheated - wouldn't it be more effective to strip them of their SB title and name the Seahawks as the winners? Suspending some multimillionaire 4 games really is not going to resonate or affect much of anything. Seems like "someone has to take the blame" and Brady is the easy way out.

The texts really say all you need to know. Brady knew what he was doing was against the rules. The texts between the equipment guys, and Brady destroying his phone tells me all I need to know. I couldn't care less what the NFL has to say about the matter.

Goodell is an inept fool, but Judge Berman is no idiot. He stated throughout the entire process that he wanted both sides to settle, so that he didn't have to issue a ruling. It was an obvious stalemate between the opposing parties. I think one of the reasons he probably ruled in Brady's favor, was Goodell not recusing himself on the appeal hearing. Goodell tripped over his ego and it cost him this ruling IMO.

Also, I doubt Judge Berman is a Pats fan. He's NYU educated and worked his entire career in NY. If he even likes football at all, I'm thinking he's more of a Jets/Giants fan.

Personally, I think it's great. I get to watch the Pats pummel the Steelers next week. And then see how the Cowboys defense handles the Pats on Game 4 with Brady under center.

Does Goodell have authority over the refs? If so, I can see him telling them to call or not call shit. Or just be real knit picky on their calls against the Pats. This right here on the Pats. It was obvious what was done and they were caught. I'm still trying to figure out how this ended up in court in the first place. You would think the CBA would outline an appeal process for a suspension and that be it. Courts don't need to be tied up mitigating crap like this.
