Heard a report a few minutes ago that the Clippers are stalling and essentially doing everything they can to not let him out of the room, as he's going to meet with Cuban next.

As much as it pains me to say...Mark Cuban deserves some of this. For years he has chased these prima donnas in free agency and struck out all the while ignoring the players who were loyal to him. What stops a team and player from doing this on purpose?

Let's say the Spurs have a free agent and they work together to create this same situation on a rival like dallas. They could work together and secretly know he really isn't going to the rival and let the player publicly announce he is. And then leave that rival empty handed.

Time to hit the plunger. Give Matthews the option to back out of his deal if its not signed yet, trade Dirk to a contender so he gets one last crack at it and trade Parsons for whatever young talent and/or picks you can get.

Mavs need to get a top 7 (preferably higher) pick this year or else they lose the pick frrom a previous trade. I would say the spooky lottery balls are weighted heavily for Portland and Dallas if they get in the lottery. Happens every year.
