A good (great?) running back isn't the only thing they need to make a solid playoff run. Paying Murray (or anybody else at any other position) too much means that they won't be able fill other holes.

LOL. I don't see SF beating Seattle once this year, much less twice. SF has gotten much worse this offseason. The only improvement I've seen is them adding Smith, but the rest of the team has lost far too much. With Seattle picking up Jimmy Graham, next season is going to be ugly for the rest of the teams in the NFC West.

Gore has gas left in the tank, as does Andre. I don't blame him for wanting to go, and I'm surprised it took him that long to put his foot down. Indy got better, for sure. Both Johnson and Gore are upgrades from Wayne and any RB they had on their roster, maybe even all combined.

Indy defense is still a major issue though.

Seems that the latest on DM is that he reached out to JK and the Feagles and sez he wants to play with his former QB at OU and run it that wide open offense. I can't fault a guy for wanting to make more money but, to beg for a job it just sounds like he doesn't want to be here anymore...

Here's my problem with Murray going to Philly. We're going to burn the first round pick on a RB, and not address the pass rush in the first round. That is undoubtedly the #1 need.

They better make a run at Hardy (yeah yeah, he's a piece of shit, but he's a beast). And they've got to find a replacement for Carter, too. This is all assuming they get the McClain deal done (and they haven't been working on it).

Neither Gurley nor Gordon will be around by the time Cowboys get to their picks in the second or third. The mock drafts have them going late 1st.

That doesn't take in to consideration that both Oakland and Jax still need running backs, both of which pick before Dallas.
