Oakland has gone nuts today. Idiots. You don't build teams in free agency, and that is exactly what they are doing.
THey have like 60 million to spend. The have to spend it all or get penalized.

You don't have to use it all, just most. You can also carry over.

Either way, these splashes they are making isn't the way to build a team.

I am not sure if the 60 million is what they have to meet the 89% of salary cap, or if it what they are under the cap.

Either way, that is a shit ton of money to make something good happen. But we are talking about the Raiders here. They still will suck.

I thought this was the free agency thread. Why are you dickholes posting about trades?

I guess maybe Murray is asking too much, no one has signed him as off right now.

From bleacher report it said that dallas was likely out of the running. Oakland and Jacksonville were the lead candidates.

He was at the Mavs game, and met with Garrett after the game. He'd be wise to think it through and not let emotion make the decision.

Yup, he's been part of the rebuilding of the team, it would be sad to see him leave. I would think that giving a hometown discount to stay in this area and keep his kids/family would be worth staying.

                          Raiders sign Helu.
Matthews expected to sign in Philly.
                          Dolphins release Randy Starks.

I guess that means Philly is out on Murray, and if Oakland signed Helu I don't know why they would need DeMarco. They firmly believe Latavius Murray is their #1.

LaMichael James? He was cut back in September.

LOL. I don't see SF beating Seattle once this year, much less twice. SF has gotten much worse this offseason. The only improvement I've seen is them adding Smith, but the rest of the team has lost far too much. With Seattle picking up Jimmy Graham, next season is going to be ugly for the rest of the teams in the NFC West.
