LMAO I work with people who thought the same. It was a no brainer, and whomever said draft him should be fired.

I kind of feel bad that Cleveland fell in to that trap. They are oh so close to being a solid team. They're a far cry from just how awful they have been historically. They really only need a couple key pieces to be great.


But the sensible side of me also says they should have known better. At least they didn't trade up to get him, giving away the farm in the process.

I haven't read it, and frankly don't care. These guys are making hundreds of thousands of dollars, some of these fuck ups are making millions for playing a sport for a few months a year. If they can't give up the ghetto lifestyle for "keeping it real", fuck'em...

I won't defend the drug tests or anything else but he made an interesting point about this most recent suspension. He is essentially being suspended for drinking after the season was completed.

I really haven't looked into how the NFL's drug policy reads, but if you are on probation for alcohol and drugs, one would think that means year around because that person has a problem with drugs and alcohol. He and Johnny 'fuck up' are doing nothing but testing the Browns and the NFL. Both fucked up before the season was over and both were suspended for the final game I believe. I'm assuming the Bowns told JFU to get help or he was going to get booted and JG has that Honey Badger mentality, he don't give a fuuuuuk...

I said give him a chance over Hoyer, it's obvious Hoyer wasn't going to win them football games. That being said, I don't think he took it all that serious, probably assuming he wasn't going to get a start.

He's young, and needs a foot in his ass to continue in the NFL. There's no doubt the kid is talented, and can do a lot of amazing things on the field, but practicing and putting in the time and energy both during the season and off is the only way he keeps his job.

The rehab thing is a safety net. They can't fire a guy who's getting help.
