Thanks, I bought a digital camera finally so I would stop killing my cell phone battery.
While I knew I wanted a DSLR, I know I hate carrying stuff so I found a decent point & shoot Nikon camera with a decent built in 30x Nikor lense. I decided to learn how to use it on manual mode. I'm happy with it but it's still hard to get a good shot of moving F1 cars (especially due to the fence). Much easier to snag the porsche cup cars or snap shots into the pits or podium of people.

Sooo, formula one is back from summer break...
@ Spa Francorchamps. I'm gonna go here one year, but not for f1, I want to track a car on this circuit. It's a toss up for me which f1 track is my favorite between this and Suzuka.

Monaco is just a street circuit that's only special cause of the location and history. Don't get me wrong, I would love to go there to spectate but I don't need to track a car there.

I like the ring but I don't have that Nurburgring infatuation that everyone seems to. I do plan to visit and do an arrive and drive event at Nordschleife someday on a future Germany trip. That said the GP Streke config that F1 runs there is just a pretty normal circuit.

Spa is a fantastic high speed flowing long circuit in a forest with elevation change and usually unpredictable weather.
Suzuka is probably the best pure track with the biggest variety of corners that is the best test of a racecar.

I like Singapore rather than Monaco, the layout is fun.

My two would be Japan and Silverstone. Also I like Brazil.

Well looks like Pirelli has some fixing to do IMO. Vettel wasn't happy about his puncture. Mainly because it wasn't too far of Eau Rouge. Nice podium for Grosjean with the Lotus rumors going around.

Monza update

Hamilton wins with some controversy about the tire pressures being .3 of a point lower than the regulations. Rosberg was 1.1 pound low, his engine expired on the final lap.

Kimi made a disastrous start falling from 2nd to almost last. Rebound to finish 8th I think.

Red Bull said duces to Renault and will get a different engine supplier for 2016. Rumor is that's it's going to be Ferrari. Mercedes said no.

Mercedes is rumored to be possibly giving Manor engines for 2016 and also having Pascal Wehrlein race for them.

monza was a total mercedes/hamilton domination. rosberg should have been 2nd if he had the proper engine instead of running his old one which was probably turned down for preservation. im no rosberg fan but sucky to see anyone get hit like that in the championship running on the last or 2nd to last lap through no fault of their own. nice to have a red car up on the podium so the fans have something to cheer about. they still love felipe, back to back podiums just when it looked like williams was about to fall behind the force indias and lotus.

the tire thing is stupid. .3 psi does little to nothing, they were set and the pirelli man checked them to his satisfaction when the wheels went on and they dropped after. if the min pressure is 21.5 then fia needs to define verbatim that it can never dip under and define the penalty.

not a great race this year but monza is a hell of a venue. of the 3 places i've seen f1 it is the best atmosphere and belongs in this sport the same way monaco does. the issue is no money is being put into the facility and the facility is pretty dilapidated. needs maybe a few hundred thousand invested into permanent bathroom buildings and a better shuttle route to bring fans to the door.
