Yea I also went to bed. The highlight for me was Nasr, what nice debut for him and Sauber with getting double points. mercedes has that edge again, but I think it could be a nice battle between ferrari and williams.

I too went to bed early and finished watching this morning. I was really happy for Vettel and Button, hopefully Ferrari has something for Mercedes this year to keep it interesting. Poor Kimi can't catch a break.Originally posted by stevoNot a good idea to go Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor on the power phallus.

73rd Goodwood Members' Meeting has been streaming live all day, FYI. It's amazing the quality of racing that comes out of a pack of dudes racing irreplaceable, multi-million dollar cars.
Sebring has been good so far as well, Connor Daly driving his ass off in the prototype challenge class.

You can always count on Malaysia's weather to help add some excitement.
hopefully the race offers changing conditions which forces some different strategies.

Turns out we didn't need weather for excitement...
Ferrari's race pace was nearly as fast as Merc but their car was better on tires. What a great turn around from last year and a hell of a step from 2 weeks ago.
Ferrari may have just saved F1.www.hppmotorsports.com

What a race. Makes up for the hell of a snoozer Melbourne was. Weird to be excited to see a Ferrari/Vettel win, but I'll be damned if I'm not. Raikkonen's pace after a completely fucked start to his race was very impressive as well.
It's becoming quite clear that the Mercedes team as a whole does not handle stress and edgy situations well. Hamilton, Lowe, Wolff, and Rosberg were all audibly flustered throughout this race. Will be interesting to see how this plays out if Ferrari really can take it to Mercedes; if we wind up seeing relative parity in performance between the two, I think Ferrari wins out handily based on Mercedes' psychological state.
Williams starting to revert to upper-midpack form, which is disappointing to see after last season's tease of low-tomid upper tier performance. Still well ahead the rest of the mid-pack, though. BOT with a great drive from the middle of the field especially with his back.
McLaren with more lolz.
Toro Rosso doesn't look bad. SAI and VES are both racey, period. Visibly better pace than RBR.
FI had a strong start, but seems to not be great on tires. Lotus disappointingly mediocre, but they have a shot to elevate themselves this season. Sauber with a disappointing reversion to their expected finishing positions.
And what the fuck is Manor doing on the track?

i knew mercedes was too complacent. they felt like ferrari closing the gap was in qualifying trim only, i bet they expected they had major race pace as they won by 30 second gaps with regularity.
hamilton's engine issue in P1 and no telemetry through P2 really didnt help for proper strategy but bottom line, merc was just okay with tires, Ferrari was exceptional and that comes down to an impressive chassis, setup and vettel's tire management skill in a car he has happy in. impressive work.www.hppmotorsports.com
