They changed the rules for you last week dude.

    God bless.

I guess you could call it a makeup call from last week. I don't disagree that, by the rule, it was not a catch. I think the rule is fucking stupid though because the ground cannot cause you to lose possession when you go down as a running back, but it can when you have complete control of a catch. It makes no sense at all to me. I still think this was a more critical call than last weeks pass interference reversal. Still a good year overall.

I agree 100% that should have been ruled a catch and that rule is silly.

        • Green Bay did that deal!

          • That rule sucked when it was called against Calvin in the season opener against the Bears a few years back and gave Chicago the win, and it still sucks. I do like seeing it used against another team however, and particularly like that it reversed a call on the field just like picking up a flag on Wild Card weekend did. Maybe Jerry can lobby Gov. Christie to get the process rule changed.

Calvin actually set the ball down himself after he had 100% complete control. I've never heard of something that idiotic and unfair to a team.

              • That rule probably will be changed eventually. I'm just glad it happened to Dallas, you couldn't of picked a better team for it to happen to.

Doesn't matter, the ruling was neither completed the process. Whether it's unfair to one team but not to another depends on ones perspective.

I didn't say it mattered. The rule is completely idiotic and needs to change.

                    • The cowboys were outplayed today, but that was a shitty note to end on. I'm glad it was Dez, maybe he'll bring a few more in next year. He dropped a bunch this year.

I'm a huge hater of Dallas, but even I can admit Dez is a badass. He dropped 5 passes all year. Definitely not what I would consider a "bunch"

                            • Wasn't just the Dez catch, there were countless other bad officials calls/no calls .

I think the Cowboys did well considering the way the game as officiated.

Green Bay has zero chance of winning in Seattle unless those same Officials call the game .

                              • Yes, the officials lost the game for the Cowboys, blah-blah-blah

Of course, Romo getting sacked several times had nothing to do with their loss. The better team (and 2014 pride of the NFC North) won over the best that the NFC East could muster.
