            MVP talk needs to be discussed after the Super Bowl. Manning shouldn't have won last year, Wilson should have.

                I don't know if it should have gone to Manning, but Wilson definitely didn't deserve it either. 3300 yards and 26 touchdowns isn't exactly an MVP performance. Any halfway decent QB would have succeeded with that running game and that defense.

                      It isn't handed out on super bowl victories either. Russel Wilson wasn't even the best player on the team, much less in the NFL. Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, and Lynch were all better and had more impact than Wilson did.

                        He doesn't have to be the best. Was his performance/leadership, etc the most critical addition to the team? Probably so.

                        How would the Seahawks have finished with Tavaris Jackson? Probably not even in the playoffs.
