  • Yack. The mavs are a pure jump shooting team with poor defense without Chandler.

    • looks like they got a run going, looking better, I still don't like how they began settling for jump shots though...

He's like a white tim duncan imo.. not flashy, just does the right things.. somewhat boring but just a flat out great player.

              • Mavs have got to make a stand for their last 20 games, they are 2nd in the West and this is a great spot to maintain if they can. Their last 20 games though will be interesting for they play the Lakers twice, Knicks, Spurs, and Denver. Those will be the most needed wins in my opinion of course beating the rest would be great too.

                • i'm glad these past 2 games havent been easy.
i'd prefer for them to show their weaknesses now so there is ample time to adjust.

                  • Good to see the Mavs still able to keep putting up points on the board with Dirk on the bench in foul trouble. Brian Cardinal really stepped it up last night in Dirk's absence.

                      • Need Chandler back...and need a re-commitment to defense. It's slipped in the last month and a half or so. Earlier in the year, we were holding lots of people under or around 90 points. I don't think we've given up that few in some time now.

I'm impressed with the way the Mavs are playing record wise and all dispite the injury's they have had. As a Spurs fan I dont want anything to do with Dallas in the Playoffs!

                          • Cuban makes a pitch for Rubio

Dallas owner Mark Cuban was in attendance Monday to watch his Mavs hand the Timberwolves their 50th loss of the season, yet he sees better days for the Wolves. "I think [Minnesota] has a star in the making in Ricky Rubio," Cuban said. Cuban, who has a passion for basketball, said he has seen the young Spaniard point guard play several times. The Wolves chose Rubio with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft when he was just 18 years old. The Wolves are confident Rubio will play for them next season. But if they want to trade him, Cuban said, they'll have a buyer. "We're very high on him," Cuban said. "If they want to give him up, we're very interested. We would do that in a heartbeat."
