If Romo didn't have his back issues he probably would've had his best career by numbers wise. This is arguably the best O-Line he has had since what 2007. Outside of the Washington game, they've done a decent job in protection and also creating running lanes for Murray.

If you go back and watch tape, the O Line actually doesn't do a great job protecting Romo. Yes, they are unstoppable at creating running lanes, but QB protection is poor.

No, he wouldn't have career numbers. Perhaps a career best QB rating, but throwing for 200ish yards a game pales in comparison to what he's been forced to do in previous seasons when they had no run game.

Romo needs to start protecting himself a little more. Peyton M. knows that when the silverbacks are coming, just lay down and call it a "play over". No need to get lit up, I know sometimes its inevitable, but you have to know when to fold'em at times, instead of doing a fucking pirouette and getting out of danger. When he got lit up by that nasty ass foreskin, it was like he wanted to spin but froze up and got jacked up, when he could have just fell and probably would not have got hurt...

He also needs to grow a pair and tell Jerry to shut the fuck up, he's not playing. If he's still not right, he's still not right, and there's already rumblings from today's practice that back that up.


I get what you're saying, but one of Romo's greatest assets has always been his ability to scramble to buy time and make shit happen. It's instinct for him, and that is real hard to get away from. One of his worst seasons in recent memory was a few years ago when Garrett and staff tried to force him in to becoming a lead footed pocket passer.
