It looks like if we win the Division we'll play Toronto. If we somehow end up as the Wild Card then winner will play Kansas City.

Toronto has passed up KC in the standings for the #1 slot, so as of now, the wild card winner will draw Toronto. Assuming we hold on to the division, we'd play KC.

Angels are doing us a favor with Houston as well.

The Angels have taken over Houston for the 2nd wild card spot. This makes me nervous as they are on fire now coming into Arlington this weekend, only 2 games back (at the moment). Suddenly, every game is very significant. We need to hang on to the division.

The Tigers are starting Matt Boyd today, whose 1-5 with a 6.91 ERA going against Gallardo who hasn't been sharp but is a lot better than Boyd!

However Oakland is giving it up to Anaheim today by starting Planet Zito and his 18.00 ERA against Garrett Richards, in place of Sonny Gray.

Then Houston is starting Kazmir against 1-5 Nuno from Seattle.

Tomorrow it's 6-3 Heaney against 3-3 Holland while Houston is idle.

I think all 3 teams will win today and hopefully Anaheim's bats will be worn smooth out from teeing off on Zito for 3 innings.

It could come down to Sunday's game with Hamels on the mound.

I'd much rather play KC, it's a complete whipping playing a series 1500 miles away and in a foreign country. The 3 hour flight isn't horrible but going through customs can be challenging.

I think I'd rather play KC as well, for the reasons BP mentioned and we seem to match up better with them. Toronto is the only team in the playoffs that really scares me.

Last night was a solid win, it was nice to see Holland put away some of their big bats last night, seems some of his command is returning.

Hopefully the house is packed tonight and we can get the W, cant wait to see the place erupt!
