On a positive note Perez was fantastic yesterday. He's already broken his arm and recovered from Tommy John surgery so hopefully he's done with injuries for a while. You could definitely do worse than a Hamels, Darvish, Perez, Holland, Lewis rotation for 2016. Also other than Lewis they are all under contract through 2017.Comment

As long as they keep beating the Astros and Angels it doesn't matter how ugly each win is. This is more like the playoff teams of the Gonzo era than the '11 or '12 season. They are just going to try and outscore everyone, screw pitching.Comment

DeShields was a pretty good pickup, from the Astros in the rule V draft no less. Which makes that gif all the more entertaining.
Looking at our schedule vs the Astros we should be able to pick up 4-5 games on them this month. They have to play the Giants, Dodgers and Yankees. We play the Mariners 7 times though. It should be an exciting month.Comment
