      Daniels mid season trades for pitchers have only panned out ONE time. And the Rangers still got jerked around at the end of the season with Cliff Lee.

                            Also in other news, Oakland has an ambidextrous pitcher. He has a special glove and switches pitching arms. He has to inform the ump of which one he is throwing with. He pitched 2 scoreless inning against the red sox.

                                More than 20 fans have died at MLB ball parks but most were the result of falls or natural causes. Only one has died directly as a result from being hit with a flying object.

                                Considering many stadiums have 3+ million fans a season and we've had a World Series stopped by a massive earthquake the stats are pretty good.
