Oh and let's just check those stats: Darvish best ever season 16 and 9. Dutch 16 and 10.... 2014 for Darvish 10 wins.... 2013 for Dutch 10 wins.... Yah I'd say they are about equivalent only Yu has more impressive stuff. Both of them have lifetime ERAs around 4 too. Really crazy now.... '11, '12 and '13 Holland 16, 12 and 10 wins.... Darvish '12, '13 and '14: 16, 13 and 10 wins.... So yah for all his hype Darvish is worth 1 more win that Holland.

No, you're probably fucking not. But even so, I can't imagine a more backwards substantiation of one's knowledge of the team. Guy watching from home with 30 camera angles at his disposal has the advantage on the guy sitting in 300-level seats in every analytic aspect of the game.

This is the biggest BS ever. Rarely does #1 pitcher compete against #1 unless it's Opening Day or the playoffs. With injuries, offdays, rest days, and nagging little injuries rotations for every team are not set in stone. That's why TV makes such a huge deal when it does happen and ticket sales go crazy. Remember Darvish vs. Verlander two years ago?

Keep making excuses for why the Rangers are sunk with out super stud Darvish. Darvish is a lot like the other wonder stud Asian pitcher the Rangers signed Chan Ho Park. Trust me all of his best years and pitches are behind him now just like Chan Ho. We are overpaying for #1 stuff and getting it a few days of the year, but overall what you really have in Ws and innings and work is #2 or #3 stuff at best. Sure on any given day Darvish can be amazing, but over the course of a season he under delivers for a #1 starter. It isn't much of a loss. I'd rather have two quality starters that are going to give me 32+ starts a year for the same money.







So Darvish didn't get a lot or run support. No Rangers pitcher has gotten a lot of run support lately. Explain how Beltre can be at the top for hits in the entire league but not break 80 RBIs last season. Easy no run support for anyone because no one is on base ever. I guess I didn't actually see that either because I didn't have you idiots on TV to explain it to me. I've forgotten more about baseball today than most of you ever knew.

What are you smoking? Darvish makes $10 million, that's Scott Feldman money. It sucks losing him for the season but he's not Cliff Lee, Sherzer or even Verlander. Those guys are making 2-3 times what he is.
