I'll be in Austin for the A&M game (about 60 rows up...LOL), and by all rights, this has to be the year for A&M to beat the 'Horns. It will be their game to lose. The "rivalry" factor is always huge, and A&M has been on the "upsetting" end pretty often (UT having a good season until that last game, and an unrated A&M squad winning). Who knows which UT team will show up? The one that beat Nebraska, or the one that UCLA tore up?
I'd take the Ucla team over the Iowa St team.

i'll be down there the day after, didn't even realize the game was in Austin. I just skirted the mayhem that will ensue win or lose. Not gonna lie, I would love to see A&M beat UT just to see all the Texas fans get all pissy about not making a bowl...but if A&M beats Nebraska, I would hate to think that I have to actually hope the 'Horns win so OU has a shot at the Big 12 title. Assuming they can beat OSU of course, which is a whole different story in itself.

At this point, I don't care if UT plays in a bowl game. I think it would be better if they didn't. It would force them to look at some issues really seriously. If they make a bowl, then it's almost like a reprieve, with them thinking mediocrity will satisfy us fans.

There's no doubt that the next couple of weeks will be interesting for the Big 12.

If the Aggies beat Nebraska and UT after beating OU and Baylor, they deserve a Big 12 championship. Hell, there's nobody left to beat (except for that OSU thing).

no doubt they deserve it. I have been waiting for Baylor and Aggie to emerge from the rubble. I figured they would have been a force last year or the year before, but RGIII got hurt and killed that for Baylor and I think Aggie just took some time under Sherman.

what are the chances that UT either ends up not bowl elgible, or doesn't get invited to a bowl?

I think the chances are good they lose to A&M. A&M is obviously playing better and consequently, is the better team right now. On the other hand, you have that rivalry factor and Texas has some pride they need to find, and I think they can. Should be interesting. If they win out and get to 6 wins, I am pretty sure they end up in a bowl. It is stupid Texas after all.
They probably won't even become bowl eligible

Im looking forward to the Bedlam Bowl this year, for a rebuilding year we have looked pretty good. Especially Blackmon, guy is a beast! Wheedon has really shown up as well. Hopefully will give us a good run the next couple of years!
