A much needed win for the Mavs last night. Spurs are looking good right now and sports writers are starting to say they are favored to repeat as the world champs. But they have a lot to go through in the Western Conference. Not sure if I would prefer the Spurs over Houston in the first round but at least they are familiar.Comment

We've been pretty lucky since Dirk has been with the Mavs. As far as I can remember, in recent memory we've only missed the playoffs once; the year after Cuban broke up the Championship Team. I would have to say that it does matter who we play. I certainly didn't want to face the Grizzlies in the first round and I think I'd much rather play the Rockets.
