The Minnesota Timberwolves finalized a buyout for veteran J.J. Barea on Monday that will enables the guard to become a free agent once he clears waivers.
Opening night has arrived. Even with our revamped team, I expect a great game, but don't know if we pull it out against the Spurs who are returning every single player from the championship team.
Really excited about this season and what we can potentially accomplish. Unfortunately I think we may need more than one season to get it together and that means father time is ticking for Dirk. But either way, can't wait for tonights game! Don't forget it's an early start at 7pm instead of the normal 7:30. Don't know if that's for the award ceremony but hopefully not.
I don't get why they always want to shoot the 3 as time expires when you're only down by 1. There were several other looks inside, not to mention they had 20 seconds to get it done. Go with the higher percentage shot.
Not suprised. I'm waiting for them to bring back Jason Terry, and Shawn Bradley.
They do this way too often with their players. First, they shouldn't let certain players go when they do then resign them a few years later!
Who have they done this with in the past? Jason Kidd is the only one I can think of besides now Tyson and Barea and Kidd has a 12 year span before coming back.
