Wow! The Spurs vs. Clippers game was something else. I didn't watch all of the game but it was pretty damn good. I don't think I've seen Blake Griffith work that hard. Good game and this will probably be the most interesting one to watch for the first round.

The Rondo trade may have been the worse move this team has done since signing Dennis Rodman. Losing 9 points on average a game after taking him on was killer. He doesn't want to be here, and he pretty much showed that from the very beginning. I am glad Carlisle told him not to come back.

I always felt that getting Dennis Rodman was more of a publicity stunt to drum up ticket sales for a very dismal Mavericks team. Unfortunately we've continue the trend with Rondo. But we shouldn't forget players like Odom and Fisher who both quite the team. Not sure what we did to get Fisher (think he was a free agent?) but I know we gave up some sort of pick for Odom. Either way, both have pissed me off just as much as Rondo has with the lackluster play. But I've always said we gave up to much for Rondo and it's come true.

I'm just wondering why the Mavs went with the story that he hurt his back? I've read that he did have a heating pad on his back but he never reported any injuries to the training staff.

I dunno why they used his back as an excuse. I think Carlisle made it pretty obvious he is done with him and doesn't want him around. This could have been a good year if we would have stayed pat, I think.
