                  Enroth is worse than Lindback. Stars are done. Hard to get anywhere with poor goaltending and subpar defense.

                      Yeah, when you give up 13 goals in 2 games, it's certainly over.

                      They have great, young offensive talent, but their defense and goaltending is simply putrid.

                      The dominant Stars teams of the late 90's/early 2000's all had exceptional defense and goaltending. Modano was obviously the key offensive guy and he was only scoring in the mid 30's goal-wise.

                      I miss the days of Sergei Zubov and Daryl Sydor.

                          The last regulation goal they gave up definitely should not have been allowed, but they had already given up 5 before that. You can't give up 5 goals and expect to win. That's garbage.

                              RabidJackal is 100% right. Stars defense is awful. Lehtonen doesn't allow the first 5 goals and Stars win.

                                That's the problem, this franchise shouldn't be in a position to be happy with "garbage wins."

                                The management needs to get serious about improving the defense and/or goaltending or it's going to be crap like that for a long, long time.
