  • Did Lebron really make that big of a difference with the caves?

They have lost 22 games in a row, 1 shy of the NBA record. I can't believe Lebron had that big of an impact up in cleveland. Did they lose anyone else or was it just Lebron?

Lebron carried that team, if you're having to score 30+ppg to keep you're team winning then you have some guys just hanging around for the ride.

Yeah, Ilgauskas as well. But mostly Lebron. That team has pretty much quit this year. They've had a few close games during the streak, but they also have been very ugly at times. There was a 112-57 loss to the Lakers and numerous other 20 and 30 point losses along the way.

There's a reason that the owner threw a tantrum when he left.

Lebron is the main difference. Losing Shaq, Z, Delonte West and now Varajao to injury didn't help either. The rest of the players on the team were brought in to play off of lebron - they're basically all a bunch of jump shooters that can't get their own shot. When they were left wide open, they shot a decent percentage and looked better than they really were. See Jason Kapono, Damon Jones, Gibson, Mo Williams, etc. They were all near the top of the league in 3 pt % with Lebron, now they all suck.

Fortunately, the cavs should be able to dump anthony parker this year, maybe jamison too (next year for sure) and try to get some young talent in there. I'd imagine Devil Stern will fix the ping pong balls for them to make sure they get the #1 pick again, maybe even another one in a year or two...

They did build the team around him. Kinda like watching the bulls after Jordan left.
