Why not free up some cash, since sucking was going to happen with our without Ware. It allows money to address other issues. Bigger issues. Keeping Ware wasn't fair to him either. One of the best guys to play the game deserves a ring. It wasn't going to happen as long as he was wearing a blue star. You have to stop the stupidity and start making good decisions somewhere. Romo will fall victim to the same fate. No way he lives out that new contract and I've said that from the day he signed it.
Whoa whoa whoa ....Hold the damn phone, you said he was declining. Now he is going to the Super Bowl?

They freed up $7 million when they got rid of Ware. That will get you a T-shirt at the gift shop I think. Maybe a hot dog. Let's just wait and see what Jerry gets with the $7 million for this upcoming season. If they go 8-8 I'll be surprised.

And i think you mistake my concerns. It is great if the Cowboys lose, they NEED a 0-16 season. It would be the best thing that could happen to them. I actually hope their new guy gets 0 sacks. Hell i hope he scores a TD for the other team. But i have the right bitch the whole way down into the sewer.

You're about 18 years too late. There is no winning here. EVERY team is a shit show while they rebuild. And face it, that's what they've been doing for 18 years. Jerry sucks at it, but nothing will make any of you happy, ever.

He overpays players for past performance, and he's an idiot. But if he doesn't keep your favorite overpaid player, he's an idiot. He finally makes TWO consecutive decisions that were not only wise, but in the best interest of the team as a whole, and he's an idiot. Don't get me wrong. Jerry is a complete, window licking retard when it comes to team management, contracts, etc. No argument there. But the fact of the matter is, you'll never be happy. You're hating him for doing something you say he's needed to do for years. The only difference is the player. At least be consistent with it.

And once again, since you people don't get it. Romo is the least of Dallas' problems. Is he a football God? No, and I've never said that. But you find me a quarterback, that we can afford, and is available, that will do a better job. You can't, and won't. Romo is an easy scapegoat for the football illiterate. The problem starts and ends in the Jones residence. Shit rolls down hill. Jerry has thought for years that they were one big name away. As does the coaching staff. As do the players. Every problem this team has, and has had, and will have, go back to Jerry Jones. He's stated publicly, a hundred times, the day a GM takes over, is the day he is buried.

I've maintained from the start of this, that I won't say he's pulled his head out of his decrepit ass, but the fact of the matter is, he's made two smart decisions that have bettered this club in the long run, whether you agree with them or not.

    2013 0.46 sacks per game

That looks like a decline to me

    How about tackles

    2011 3.63 per game
    2012 3.50 per game
    2013 3.08 per game

Again all stats for 2013 were figured for 13 games only.
The Dallas defense was pretty easy to figure out, and has gotten easier each year. It's not a coincidence.

    opposing coaches strategy: block 94

I'm not sure how a team that went to the Super Bowl last year thinks he is worth it, but JJ didn't. Actually, I am sure.

I have no idea how you look at that data string and say he is in a definite decline. I mean for all we know the injury that sidelined him could have been nagging him all season.

19.5 to 11.5 to 6 is not "performing fine". It's a key indicator that he is on a sharp decline. I've got no doubt he can perform well enough in Denver. Because he doesn't have to carry the defense like he had to here. I still think Denver overpaid, and I have doubts Ware lives out that contract (injury).
You said that less than eight is what the new guy will get, so i am saying that 6 sacks over 13 games should be an acceptable performance by your own standards.

I'm willing to bet a steak that Jerry Jones makes this into a total shit show. Now is there anyone here who will strap on a pair and take jerry's side of the wager?

Ok ok ok...how about this, if Ware's replacement gets 8 or more sacks next season I will buy Brent a steak at Bob's. If he doesn't then Brent buys me a steak. No wine or any of that bullshit, before anyone gets wise, just a steak.

I guess the new guy Mincey is better than Ware? And the kid from Oregon (Beavers) Scott Crichton is someone that could come in and play.
