So you fire the entire rest of the team, and forfeit at least two seasons worth of games? That doesn't make sense. It's a good decision, because they aren't strapped for cash like they were last week. They were headed in to the season over the cap, and still sucking. Why not free up some cash, since sucking was going to happen with our without Ware. It allows money to address other issues. Bigger issues. Keeping Ware wasn't fair to him either. You're about 18 years too late. There is no winning here. EVERY team is a shit show while they rebuild. And face it, that's what they've been doing for 18 years. Jerry sucks at it, but nothing will make any of you happy, ever.


He overpays players for past performance, and he's an idiot. But if he doesn't keep your favorite overpaid player, he's an idiot. He finally makes TWO consecutive decisions that were not only wise, but in the best interest of the team as a whole, and he's an idiot. Don't get me wrong. Jerry is a complete, window licking retard when it comes to team management, contracts, etc. No argument there. But the fact of the matter is, you'll never be happy. You're hating him for doing something you say he's needed to do for years. The only difference is the player. At least be consistent with it.


And once again, since you people don't get it. Romo is the least of Dallas' problems. Is he a football God? No, and I've never said that. But you find me a quarterback, that we can afford, and is available, that will do a better job. You can't, and won't. Romo is an easy scapegoat for the football illiterate. 2011 1.22 sacks per game
2012 0.72 sacks per game
2013 0.46 sacks per game

That looks like a decline to me

Again all stats for 2013 were figured for 13 games only.

I have no idea how you look at that data string and say he is in a definite decline. I mean for all we know the injury that sidelined him could have been nagging him all season.

By my own standards? I said he will perform better in Denver because he has a great defense around him. He doesn't have that here.

19.5 to 11.5 to 6 is not "performing fine". It's a key indicator that he is on a sharp decline. I've got no doubt he can perform well enough in Denver. Because he doesn't have to carry the defense like he had to here. I still think Denver overpaid, and I have doubts Ware lives out that contract (injury).

You said that less than eight is what the new guy will get, so i am saying that 6 sacks over 13 games should be an acceptable performance by your own standards.
