Damn these cars sound ugly

well, this is interesting for sure.


i know the cars will sound better in person. they make some cool noises under decel, but at full song, they sound muted like they aren't full throttle. rpm range is much lower.

hopefully f1 will modify the equipment/sound pickups. they don't need to filter out so much like they did with the screaming v8s. those sounded nothing like they do in person.

RBR had a rather good practice session 2. they looked to have adequate pace so they may not be too far behind for long.

lotus & caterham look fucked.

Yep...good to see RBR in the mix. At least the running order will be close at the early parts of the season

it rained a bit before but it looks dry now. they said chance of rain increases around qualifying time.

Shakeup? Merc and RBR on the front row is all we saw last year as well. But it's exciting none the less. Pretty good job by ricciardo in front of the home crowd. Odd that vettel struggled with the new software so much.

That race wasn't nearly as exciting as I was expecting. They didn't even look to be racing until the end, and 1/3 of the field retired.

Sad that ricciardo was DQed after finishing the race, and these cars look so twitchy.

i was impressed with magnussen, bottas, and kyvat. bottas put on a show.

crazy how mercedes and rbr can have such high results (p1 & p2*) with one set of cars but lose the other 2 at the start. felt the worst for massa however. i bet he would have been top 5.

i thought lotus might just finish the race.

Where can I watch the race online ? I looked at the nbc sports app this morning and the race was not on.
