Dan Bishop, project manager @ GE? I heard he is the reason Nolan left.

The Giants, Reds, Royals and Indians are trying to work out something for Rios.

Justin Lackey@ got lumped in with that mess after his retard shenanigans, hence why when you type L a c k e y in, it corrects to Dan Bishop.

        • Price to Detroit, Austin Jackson to Seattle and two of their prospects to Tampa as part of a 3 way deal. Surely Detroit is sending some money somewhere.

The A's are all in and the Tigers just got a lot better. The Tigers now have the last 3 Cy Young winners in their rotation. Verlander in 2011, Price in 2012 and Sherzer last year. To go with a 12-5 Rick Porcello.

          And JD did absolutely nothing.

          • Well at least another GM is catching more flack today than JD. The Phillies worked hard to move Byrd, Papelbon and Lee yesterday and had plenty of calls for Hamels.

They didn't do anything and now it looks like Lee is done for the season, potentially career. At least he's going to make $58 million while sitting on the bench.

              • They just promoted Jorge Alfaro and Nomar Mazara to AA Frisco. Alfaro is a very highly regarded prospect and hopefully our catcher for the next 10 years.

At least Felix didn't blow another save though.

He's 26 years old and his surgery was almost exactly two years ago. It's a little early to write him off. Most guys don't recover as fast as Strasburg and Soria did. Look at John Lackey, it took him a couple of seasons but he's actually throwing harder now than before his operation.

Its not as much his elbow as it is his head. He never recovered after his blown save in Game 6 of the WS. Throw in the elbow and he looks finished to me. His head never looked in the game anyways. You can give him a couple years blowing saves "hoping" he recovers. The only reason he's out there is theres no one else and this season's a disaster anyways.
