Joey Gallo hit a walk off last night in his Frisco debut. That's 22 homeruns this season so far and he's 20 years old. We haven't had a bat like this in the farm system since Nelson Cruz and he was 28 and on PEDs.Comment

Realistically though we've had a tough schedule. The Nationals, Orioles and Indians all are good teams. We get two games against the Marlins next, then we play Seattle, Oakland and the Angels on the road. Oakland and the Angels are playing each other now but then Oakland finishes out the month playing the Tigers then Toronto and then the Giants for 4 games. The Angels face the Braves, Indians, us and the Twins.
If we manage to stay at .500 ball until the all star break we still have a good shot.Comment

Well scratch that, Brad Snyder is your new 1st baseman. He does have 18 homeruns in the minors this season and all at Round Rock so it's pro level. He's an outfielder though who played the last two games at first.Comment
