I want to see Chi Chi, Alfaro, Odor and Gallo kill it in spring training. I think we'll pick up another pitcher now that Holland is down, especially with Harrison still being a question mark. I really don't want to see Ogando or Feliz as starters again.
I just don't know if I'd spend Cliff Lee money to get Tanaka, trade the farm for Price or just go ahead and take on Cliff's contract. Or maybe Chi Chi will be totally lights out and make the team, then we can look at Ross or Sheppers as a starter.

Feliz has come right out and said that he wants to be a reliever for the rest of his career, and the club publicly backed him on that soon after.
The press in Anaheim says the Angels need to build from within and rely on what they have on the payroll already. Arte Moreno does what the press says so it doesn't sound like they are in on the Tanaka talks.
Price filed for arbitration and the Rays can't really afford to pay him. I think they are desperately trying to move him somewhere. He's a legit staff ace, if we can get him for Profar or Elvis and some cash I'm in. We have talent in pipe for middle infielders.
I bet Cruz wishes he would have taken that qualifying offer now. There isn't anyone interested in signing him for more than two years. I have a feeling he'll be back.

Daniels was on the Ticket earlier. He sure made it sound like there will be no going after a pitcher. When Holland was brought up, he said they are expecting some of the youngsters to step up and perform to fill that role. Mind you, that's Holland's role he was talking abou. And if he's being honest, that would indicate they are out on Tanaka as well.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.
Kershaw apparently just signed a $215 million dollar/7 year deal. That kind of sets the price for a staff ace. It makes the Darvish deal look like a steal.

Lol. Price just resigned with the Rays for a meager $14mil.
