  • I thought this was an exciting season. Lot of new drivers in victory lane. Trevor Bayne, Regan Smith, David Ragan, Paul Menard, Marcos Ambrose. Also one of the best championship finishes in history, and it was exciting to watch. Lots of things to look forward to next season. Will Roush Racing have 4 cars on the track in the Sprint Series? How will Kasey Kahne do with Hendrick Motorsports. What I hope happens is this.
    Los Angeles Rams 11-5
Last Game - Loss vs. San Fransisco
    Up Next - vs. Atlanta

the second half was definately a season worth watching for the most part. Looks like the Kurt Busch saga isnt over. Not only was Penske upset at him, looks like penzoil and another sponsor were upset and considered their own brand of punishment.

He was fined 50k by nascar as well. Turns out, Roger Penske rarely interfeared in these issues. Now that he let it be known that Kurt is no longer the franchise for Penske racing, he is letting Kurt know that his behavior wont be tolerated now that he has no fear of upsetting Busch after his tantrums. Seems Brad K. is the new golden boy in his organization.

well Brad did win more races and had a bigger impact in the chase than Kurt. The thing is if this wasnt recorded, this wouldnt be an issue.

I read that last week on jayski.com, I cant say Im suprised that Ragan is out. You possibly know anything about JTG Daughtry Racing and where they might alliance with? I would love to see Bobby in victory lane just one more time.

don't really hear much about those guys, as they take the table scraps from other teams to build race cars. They are a start and park team that happens to have some corporate backing, so they run the whole race and buy tires. Good for them if they continue to make money doing what they are doing.

they had a good season with Marcos Ambrose I think in his second season, but they got alot of sponsers with them. Kroger, Kinsford, Lance, etc. thanks for the info though, just one time can he take Kyle Busch's seat in the 18 at Atlanta lol. Like next year.

                • speaking of jasyski.com, just looked at it and Steve Addington who was with the 22 car is going to be the new crew chief of Tony Stewart in 2012 replace Darian Grubb.

I agree for the most part. But still think with the emergence of BK, Kurt's time running around as king there was coming to an end regardless.

ive been suprised that Sam Hornish, Jr has stayed in nascar, I thought after Penske downgraded from 3 cars to 2 in Sprint that Hornish might want to go back to Indy Racing. But then again Hornish has won everything in Indy Racing already.

He had gone back. He didn't fair so well and had lost his sponsor. That was when he was running the Texaco ( winged pegasus) car.

this year he has been in nationwide series this year cause Penske downsized from 3 cars in Sprint to 2 cars cause Mobil 1 left Penske Racing and went to Stewart Haas Racing. He raced in 13 races and got his first career win in the nationwide at Phoenix which was also his first ever points paying race. He made one start in the Sprint Cup Series driving the #38 at Pocono for Travis Kvapil.

                              • Hey Grape, we had a sales guy that reps a nitrogen company that puts nitrogen in the tires for vehicles. He said that nascar uses nitrogen, is that true?
