i have a ton of family over this morning/afternoon/evening. I recorded the race so I can watch it again but what I remember was he was in first place than the next thing I saw his car was wrecked and it was raining.

Pretty shitty track conditions towards the end imo, the race really should have been stopped earlier.

The Australian driver was seething after being taken out in a chain reaction crash after Danica Patrick's car slid sideways following a restart with 10 laps remaining, despite slippery conditions as light rain fell.
Power, second in the IndyCar series point standings, flipped both hands in an obscene gesture that was caught on camera as he left his car.


He questioned why officials had opted for another restart, slamming Brian Barnhart, IndyCar's vice president of competition, in a vitriolic spray.

yea i saw his response on his twitter and I can understand his frustration. Track is wet and instead of calling the race they threw the green flag and tore up a bunch of cars that didnt need to be taken out. BTW, i just have a new sig lol

I have it set up to where it gives alerts to my phone. Gives me all the cautions and lead changes, also the white flag and checkered flag leader. I read the update about the final restart and the crash, need to see highlights tonight.

it was a pretty bad wreck at the end. then biffle and boris said got in to it after the race!

Saw the highlights and this is my assesment from today.

Glad Denny Hamlin was able to walk away from that wreck, but also kudos to the track. That fence with the tires did the job of stopping the car but also gave. Also like that they paved that whole section, gives them a chance to slow down on pavement rather than on grass.

The restart was great, and that crash that was on the last lap going into the S's was all Boris Said's fault. Im reading a bunch of guys on twitter (Jeff Burton, David Ragan) say that Boris drives over his head and that he dosen't respect anyone. That wreck pretty much lost the Chase for Ragan who is sitting 23rd in points. Keselowski has all but locked himself in the chase. Sits in 14th spot in the standings, won 2 races which is the most by guys 11-20.

Glad Ambrose won, expecially after what happened to him last year at Infineon.

I follow a bunch of drivers from Nascar or INdy. Also follow football, baseball, and basketball related stuff. Love that pro football talk is on twitter, I got to read all the free agency buzz as soon as it came out

I haven't kept up with NASCAR in four weeks..... Sounds like I've missed a lot.

the hottest driver IMO is Keselowski. He won at Pocono and finished 2nd today. He has two wins and is 14th in points. He looks to be likely locked into a wild card position for the chase. Johnson and Kurt Busch had a war of words after Pocono.
