I dont think that could happen cause Kasey already signed a deal, and this year in his Red Bull car he has had some good runs.

Okay this weekend the guys are at Indianapolis, this usually is a great race. The lone exception was a few years ago with the Goodyear debacle. I honestly don't have a favorite in this race, I think it will be the usual players like Johnson, Gordon, Harvick, Stewart. Also look at Montoya as well. Nationwide is at Indianapolis Raceway Park which is a good track I think. I believe the Truck Series is also at Indianapolis Raceway Park

If I was Edwards I would be worried about the engine program at JGR. I am a huge Denny Hamlin/JGR fan and would love to see Edwards make the move but after seeing Denny blow up again today I would be hesitant. I am shocked that Hamlin has climbed to 10th in points with all the crap that has happened to him this season.

If I was Edwards I would be worried about the engine program at JGR. I am a huge Denny Hamlin/JGR fan and would love to see Edwards make the move but after seeing Denny blow up again today I would be hesitant. I am shocked that Hamlin has climbed to 10th in points with all the crap that has happened to him this season.

If I was Edwards I'd stay at Roush. He is clearly the top guy there, and he wouldn't have to worry about friction between other ego drivers like Busch and Hamlin. JGR first needs to just get rid of Logano, he is overrated and hasn't done squat. His only win was a rained early win. Thats it. JGR dosent need to go from 3 teams to 4 teams, other teams have done that and have ran horrible. Prime example is RCR, they went from 3 teams to 4 teams when they signed Casey Mears and none of their drivers made the chase. At Roush Edwards is going to get the top equipment and he is going to be the face of the Ford Brand in nascar.

So I must have totally missed something. I have stated I am a Hamlin fan and was not happy with his situation going into this race starting at the back after his 4th blown engine. So after 40 laps I was ecstatic when is was up to 5th. He stayed in or near the top 10 until about 25 laps to go and then I noticed he was 28th. Anyone know what the hell happened while I was flipping burgers on the grill?

I think Hamlin got bit with the fuel game. The last 10 laps were pretty exciting to watch. Stewart was in the lead but had to pit with 7 to go which gave the lead to Menard. McMurray passed him with 4 laps to go. McMurray, Menard, Mark Martin, and Regan Smith were all close up front and all conserving fuel to the end. Gordon wasn't, and he was coming like a bat from hell. I think he went from being 4 seconds back to just 1.5 in 2 laps. He caught Smith with 4 to go and made quick work of him. Then passed McMurray with 3 to go entering turn 1 and then passed Martin on the back stretch to move into 2nd. He was closing on Menard but just ran out of laps. If he had one more lap he'd would've passed him cause Menard was conserving and I dont know if he could've ran 2 more laps.

he breaks his own engines going on and off pit road and re-starts.........he runs into the chip more than anybody out there except for possibly the 88.......he's a goon

The told him with 4 laps to go that the 24 was coming fast and he needed to just go go go. Had some of the lapped traffic not held up Jeff, he would have won easily. No excuses though as that is part of the fun in nascar.

Word around the garage is that Menard still hasnt earned respect of the drivers. He has been sponsored by his billionare (yes billionare) daddy his whole life. So a lot of the top guys that still have to worry about sponsorship dont like how his daddy keeps him on the track. I said before that he will get a good ride because of his family, but this year I have to kinda stop saying that. This is the best equipment he has ever been in and he has ran pretty good as of late. Say what you want about him personally, but he at least raced in Busch for a while then went to cup. He is no way in the same league as Logano who is just overrated. Menards win was well earned in my mind. He had to save fuel but also at the same time stay in front and give him credit for keeping his emotions in check when Jeff was closing.

Just read an article that says Danica Patrick is rumored to be interested in signing a full time nationwide series deal with JR Motorsports and also race part time next year for Stewart Haas Racing.

Wow!!!! Paul Menard finally won a race? Heck I always thought he was just a filler.
