  • Herschel Walker wants to return to the NFL at age 48

Herschel Walker wants to go back into the National Football League.

Walker is 48-years-old. He said he is 100 percent sure he can help a football team out right now.

He was a Cowboy star and one of the greatest athletes of all time. He won the Heisman Trophy, was an Olympic bobsledder, and recently dabbled in mixed martial arts.

He wants to accomplish another great challenge and that is to the NFL in a uniform.

Last year, Walker ran a 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds.

Sounds like he still has the speed, but I doubt he could stay injury free. It would be cool to see though!

Heard about this on the local news today. Bless him for being so optimistic, but who in their right mind would accept a 50 year old person on their team? Nevermind. Maybe the vikings will if FARVE comes out of retirement.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

damn a 4.38 40 for a 48 year old. That is impressive. Like stated earlier, he probably couldn't stay healthy.

The guy is a physical specimen. They had him in studio on the Ticket a while back, and his daily workout/eating habits are unreal. Something like thousands of pushups/situps every day, runs a ridiculous distance at a ridiculous pace, etc.

I'd like to see it happen. I mean, how fucking cool would it be for a 50 yr old EX NFL star to return to the NFL, and be productive?

hell, with a potential for the season being cancelled, he could end up playing for a team full of replacements.

IF he were to be signed by a team he would probably only be used for like 3rd down situations and/or goal line type back.

I would like to see what he's got left in the tank.

Or see him carried off in a stretcher.

I was thinking 10-12, but ya... that google isn't worth the effort for me either.
