When did Texas become poor?

Numbers I found show 'Bama is at about $120 mil and UT is about $160 mil. I'm sure there are other figures out there, but 'Bama is 4th in the country, with UT at #1. Another reason that a record of 30-20 the last 4 years is ludicrous.

I personally hope Mack stays. I'm loyal though to people who build a program like he has done. He took it from ashes and made it the most profitable program in the country and won a ton of games. The man can still coach. I think it's a disservice to be treated as he's being treated now. I'd think the same thing if Stoops had 3 or 4 eight win seasons in a row or any other longstanding coach for that matter. I believe when you are that good for that long, you have a window that you can coach through before it's time to go. Now, that doesn't mean a coach can't overstay -- see Bobby Bowden and Jo Paterno. Mack isn't even close to that though.

I understand that thinking. But you have to remember Texas and the Big12 have a deal with Fox. Plus all the money Texas gets from the LHN, rather people can see it or not.
