Gave up a fumble that gave Baylor excellent field position and a TD on the next play or two also. TCU fans haven't had much to cheer for this season but we were going nuts last night. It was a sad but fitting ending.

With a decent QB, TCU could have had a good season. I just don't understand the hoopla around Pachall. He threw 3 crucial INT's yesterday. His last one was just stupid. They could have easily kicked the FG to tie it up for overtime.

Hypocritical or not, it doesn't make what Patterson any less true/valid. That was a pretty shitty move/statement by Briles. And that's coming from someone who likes the guy.

I'm not going to defend Dixon as a "classy" player (no one has seemed to care about this in college football until it was a talking point against the former doormat), but that's a load of shit. Why the fuck is Briles going to personally escort Goodley off the field? That's not his concern in the middle of a goddamned football game.

I still don't understand what it is that Briles did that was shitty, aside from not personally wiping Dixon's mouth, spanking him in public, and then walking him to the locker room. Was it jawing at Patterson while Patterson was having his little temper tantrum on the field? Was it suggesting that they "leave it on the field"?

This shit goes back WAY further than what happened on Saturday. Briles and Patterson have had issues with each other since at least the game in 2011. See:



It's been an ongoing deal and Briles makes one statement at midfield post-game (one that could certainly be viewed as an attempt at diffusion, perhaps not) and suddenly he's the villain here? I don't get it.
