    just my opinion...
Have you never read one of his threads? He always starts off with an open-ended question and a few posts later is trying to guide the responses until he hears what he wants to hear

i realize that my lack of experience in this area takes away from my opinion...

but, WHAT THE FUCK was he thinking? he plays in chicago. chicago is one of the most passionate sports cities in the world.

he was playing the most important game of his career so far...

he lost so much respect by not going back into that game. he is fighting a huge uphill battle to win back the fans in chicago.

      thoughts?
EDIT:Forgot to make a point. Cutler has a great arm, but his O-line is horrible. It's like Romo. Romo is a fucking sniper with a football, but he constantly is running for his life.

I'm glad that you posted about your inexperience...that way I don't have to get mad.

He got fucked. I'm kinda glad b/c I hate the bears but he made passes that were dropped, then just threw when it didn't matter. The best way to say it is that he has the talent, but doesn't have the heart. Look at Rodgers or I fucking hate to say it, but Rape-a-burger. They lead. When their team is down, they do everything that they can to win.

Here is my problem, if Culter wanted to get back into the game why didnt he show it? I never saw him on the sideline throwing a ball and testing it out. Only thing I saw was him on the bike. If I was a chicago fan or a player i'd still be pissed about it cause it looked like he quit. Collins was thrown into a situation that he wasnt prepared for and plus he is old so what did you really expect. Hanie I thought showed some heart and really wanted that moment and wanted to lead his team back.

I also have never played in the NFL, but IMO Cutler is a pussy and has no heart. I think he has a decent line with Omiyale and Kreutz being above average. Cutler hangs onto the ball too long in most cases, causing the sack or the scramble. I've had Cutler in my fantasy keeper league for the last 2 years and I pay attention to him every week... I actually dropped him right after that game.

Cutler's passing style is based on the guy being open, and he really needs to work more on his timing patterns. Look at Aikman, he had average QB talent but made the best of working with the system and developed uncanny timing with his receivers. Just my opinion... but f Cutler, he sucks and is a pussy.

Look at Aikman? He had one of the best running backs to ever exist. Play-action was gold for him. He was a great QB that could sell the run, then make the pass.

I meant look at the onset of Aikman's career... look at Aikman's 2nd year - he was sacked 39 times. He figured out how to make his talents work with the system, and in contrast Cutler seems to be more about him instead of the system/team.

Look at the 91 Cowboys and the 10 Bears - pretty similar stats and pretty similar years. Cowboys had 3400 pass yds and 1700 rush yds and lost in the Div playoff game. Bears had 3400 pass yds and 1600 rush yds and lost in the Conf playoff game. My point is it seemed the Cowboys were on their way to greatness with Aikman, Irvin, Emmitt, the good Def, etc... and it seems the Bears are headed for 8-8 next year because they have a QB that won't commit to the team.

Wasn't trying to hijack anything.... People stated that Cutler was a quitter and a piece of shit basically for not going back into the game. I just stated how much of that fell on the coaches shoulders and not Cutler. Honestly?

I think Cutler is improving and wish he was still with Denver along with the rest of the group. I say he is improving because he is learning to just take the sac now instead of throwing an interception.

2009 season Jay Cutler threw for 27 Touchdowns and 26 interceptions while being sac'd 35 times.
2010 season Jay Cutler threw for 23 Touchdowns and 16 interceptions while being sac'd 52 times.

I'd say he is slowly improving considering what all he has to work with. Most of his receivers are less then 200 lbs. and under 6 ft. tall.

no doubt that he is a talented qb who has a skill set that is improving. however, that is not the issue at hand...

he very well might be one of the top 5 qb's in the nfl with regard to pure talent, but his heart is what is at question here. knowing that he is the man that gives his team the best chance to win and playing in the biggest game of his career so far, imo he should have told lovie smith to get fucked and got himself back in the game. it appeared that he just flat out gave up on it...
