I don't like the guy but if he had an MCL injury, he'd be even more ineffective against that defense.

It's perfect time for them to cut ties, before he becomes outdated so he will leave Denver while still being remembered for his best days. Plus it will free up alot of cap space.
I've heard rumors Champ might be headed to Pittsburgh next season. Any truth to this Geor!?

This reminds me of that whole Colt McCoy injury during the national championship game last year. Everyone was ripping him for not getting back in there. I don't know what the full extent of Cutler's injury was but it sure is not showing well towards his toughness.

At least McCoy had an excuse of hurting his chances in the NFL. Cutler was argueably in the biggest game of his professional life and he watched it from the sidelines at the most important time.

That reminds of you the Colt McCoy injury in the NC game? Hmmmm. Everyone saw the play he got hurt on and knew how and why he was hurt. It was a helmet straight to the upper arm/lower shoulder from the side. He said after the game he couldn't even feel his arm or hand. He came a couple days later and said he didn't have feeling in his arm or hand until the day following the NC game because it was so numb. Not even in the same vicinity as Cutler's deal, IMHO.

Seeing the way he pissed and moaned in Denver told me everything I ever needed to hear about cutler.

If he could walk, he could play. The team quit when he did. Had he been carted off with his leg wrapped, different story.

I've played with that injury,it hurts....but u can still play....put a damn brace on it to stabilize the knee and go...cutler decided to play the im injured card because he knew his team could not beat the packers.....never seen anything so sad out of a guy in the NFL......if i was the owner of that team cutler would be gone by next year....cutler just showed how gutless he is.

um, you do realize Collins is older than dirt right?

So what is everyone takes on the coaches decision not to let him come back?

Is the coach an idiot? Or is Cutler really the one to blame.

Yeah he might have made a bad choice though letting it be known his knee got hurt when he should of kept quiet but it was all on the coaches shoulders.

Besides wasn't Cutler the player of the year for the SEC? That's gotta be one tough son of a bitch.

Yeah... I didn't think anyone had a good answer on that part of the situation. Just people wanting to hate on Cutler mostly.

the thread was not about who is or isn't to blame. it is about everyone's opinion on the situation. maybe you should rephrase your point instead of trying to hijack...

                                just my opinion...
