It was a close game, yet the Mavs were never really in it. Every time they got within striking distance, the Spurs would score 4-6 unanswered points. Mavs just can't buy a stop when they need one at times...which is most of the time. This team is reminiscent of Dirk's early years. You can only outscore teams for so long.

Very true...I see Dirk has to put up a very good game every night to stay close to good teams.

Fucking Mavs. About 2 mins into the 2nd quarter tonight, they were beating the Portland Trailblazers 40-10. Yeah, you read that right. Third period isn't even over yet and the Mavs just blew the lead and are losing 69-67. Fuck!

I was at the game last night. My wife was talking about leaving early. Then the Trailblazers started coming back....Awesome they pulled it off with a win.

Missed Friday's game because I was out camping but watched last nights game. Man the consistency is killing us, losing three straight and win two at home against quality teams. Either way, good win against the Pacers. Dalembert was looking good.

Ugh...I'm not sure I see us going better than 4 and 4 over the 8 game home stand coming up. However, if we want to move up, we need to do better than that.
